De Boice and I met 9 years ago about the time I got interested in what field trials were all about. BOY did I have a lot to learn!!! And I still do which is a wonderful challenge to get up to every day. Since I met De, we've had some successes (3 NRC finalist trips) and a bevy of tragedies (cancer deaths, injured in truck accident, grass awns,etc.) all a painful part of this FT experience. There's a lot to learn as a FT land owner, training, handling, running a club and judging. The FT community is full of talented good teachers that are helping me on my journey in all of the above.
