Amelia Baxter, born in Stirling, Scotland, now based out of her kennel in Saint Jo, Texas, dedicates her life to breeding competitive field bred springer spaniels and training and field trialing springers and cocker spaniels around the country. Starting with her first field bred springer in 2019, she accredits her quick, steady success and training ability to her lifelong equestrian background.

Her track record speaks for itself, with National Placements, several Field Champions and many phenomenal Gundogs she believes in her training methods. She doesn’t have a “One Program Fits All” style, instead tailors her training to suit each dog’s individual personality and develop them at their own pace to achieve the highest level possible.

Amelia has won the National Open Cocker Championship of 2023 and took two placements in the 2023 Springer National Open, another placement in the 2021 Springer National Open, two placements in the 2024 Springer National Open, along with achieving the Dan Langhans Award for Weighted High Point Dog in 2020 and the Martin J. Hogan Memorial Award for the Top Professional Handler in 2024.
